Technical Information

Here is a simple graphic, designed to provide some insight into the technical structure behind our services:

As illustrated above, no customer data is directly accessible over the Internet, thereby ensuring the safety of the documents. We have taken appropriate measures to protect our web server against hackers and viruses. In addition, only those who are logged in properly and recognized by our system will be allowed access.

Our web pages are carefully prepared and encoded before they are sent to the user’s browser. Every page is therefore custom-designed for each particular user’s needs. They can not be accessed by anyone else.

The web server is available to our customers around the clock and is always directly connected to the Internet. ur customers can access our services, regardless of the time of day or the location, without difficulty or delay.

We regularly back-up our customers’ data, as well as giving them the option to simply press a button and request an instant back-up of their information. It is an added security measure that we are pleased to offer to our clients.

We are currently using a special Tomcat/IBM-DB2 combination and Java programming language, which enables us to use all of our class libraries and functions for both web and database applications.

To successfully create our dynamic web pages, we have developed our own framework, which is based on Java-Servlets and is mapping html-tags on Java classes. All of the text data on our pages can be loaded from our database in the language the customer prefers to use.

Some of our products and the librariers used (i.e Tomcat and POI) were developed by the Apache Jakarta team. That software is distributed under the Apache License.
